Victor Ng step up in Touring Car Series(TC)
Victor Ng awarded top rookie with AR-G Motorsports
Napa, CA– Aug 2nd, 2020 – AR-G Motorsports Victor Ng took the 2d place at USTCC race of the 2020 season at Thunderhill Raceway Park. Ng qualified at 2nd, driving defensively and finished 2nd with the Thunderhill bypass configuration.
“It takes time and effort to break-in with the team and for a winning success.” After the first race at Buttonwillow Raceway Ng and AR-G are cooperating smoothly for this race. “From tiny matters like radio setup, administration and mentally preparing for the race, Daniel and I have been working closely to get better results.” “We are working closely to address all the miscommunication and mistakes that we made during the last race and we did successfully run the race smoothly and got a great team victory!”
That was a great standing start with Ng’s S2000 and did catch up with the pole P1 car. P3 and P2 came up from behind in turn 2 but Ng was defensively taking over the P2 position at turn 3 and 4. It was a hot day and Ng was driving defensively for the rest of the race to avoid overheating the S2000. Ng was trying to catch up with P1 but without success because of a GT car in the front. Ng tried several attempts to pass without success but finally passed the GT car during the final 2 laps. Unfortunately the time loss that carried over from the past laps made it impossible to catch up with the P1 and Ng finished 2nd for the race.
