Rising AR-G Star Daniel Rose Showing His New Found Speed

Rose getting in the mix with the USTCC veterans surprised many.

Napa, CA– September 19, 2021 –Daniel Rose piloting the #13 Rose General Construction BMW M3 in the Super Touring class has shown promising pace all weekend. Frequently in the top 5 of the ST class time charts, Rose barely missed out on a podium spot and vowed to come back stronger.

Qualifying 1

Rose has been going quicker every session prior to Qualifying 1 and was able to put together a strong lap Friday noon to place himself 6th on the grid for Saturday’s race.

Qualifying 2

Qualifying 2 on Saturday saw Rose continue to improve his time and made up another spot on the grid for race 2 starting in 5th place just behind veteran teammate Doug Makishima.

Race 1

Rose started 6th in class and battled it out first with Michael Hillo in the 350z alongside Doug Makishima in the sister BMW M3 all while hunting down Viktor Czapla in the Audi R8. In the heat of the squabble Rose allowed Makishima to pass in an attempt to work together and break up the stalemate between them and Hillo’s 350z. Rose crossed the finish line with a solid 5th place.

Race 2

Rose had a rocket start and caught the front runners napping in race 2. By turn 2 Rose made it up to 2nd place where he defended diligently against a train of cars for the next couple of laps while trying not to compromise his speed. Rose later had a fierce battle with the Audi R8 of Viktor Czapla that resulted in damaging the front right of the car forcing Daniel to drop pace and ultimately settle for 5th place at the checkered flag.

Daniel Rose, driver of #13 AR-G Motorsports Rose Construction BMW M3

" I think overall I did ok this weekend. I had a lot of fun battling the R8. I think there's a lot more pace left in my driving and in the car. We shall see at the next race at Buttonwillow Raceway Park next month."
